Pioneer Park Fees & Rules
Rental Fee Information
Brownsville residents receive a 50 percent discount on the rental fee for groups of less than 500, deposits remain the same.
Rentals are broken down into packages.
All other portions of the park remain on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Each year the City conducts a 'lottery' for reservations from late May through September. The facilities are well used. Please call City Hall for availability of Park facilities.
Rules
Alcohol is not allowed in Pioneer Park - violators will be cited.
Park Hours - The park is open to the public from 7:00 a.m. until dusk, when the gate is closed and locked. From November 1 to April 1, vehicular access will be limited with the gate being closed at 4:00 p.m.
Fires In The Park - Build fires only in the places designated for fires.
Horses In The Park - Keep horses on the roads or designated areas. Horses are not allowed on the ball diamonds, picnic area or camping areas.
Overnight Camping - Overnight use of camping areas is limited to ten days per calendar year. The park caretaker collects camping fees daily. Overnight camping fees are $15 per RV per night, $10 per tent per night.
Picnic Areas and Tables In The Park - All picnic areas and tables are on a first-come, first-served basis. The pavilion, kitchen, and dance hall are to be reserved in advance. Reservations for these facilities are made through City Hall.
Vehicles In The Park - Vehicles must observe a 5 MPH speed limit.
Pets - Keep pets under control at all times, on a leash or confined in a vehicle. Please clean up after your pets.
Police Protection - Police protection is provided by the Linn County Sheriff's Department. Call 911 for emergencies, 967-3911 for non-emergencies.
