Pickling Class: Learn how Librarian Sherri preserves pickled beans and beets. Demonstration of how to fill jars and basic instruction of processing. Tasting of homemade pickled beans and beets

Local Native American enthusiast Sid Austin as he talks about How the West was Lost. He will show a film of the same title. This will be followed by a talk about the movie in which he will expand on Horace Axtell, Chief Joseph, Jackson Sundown and more. The show begins at 6 PM followed by the talk at 7 PM. The Brownsville Community Library will be hosting a month-long display of items and artifacts.

Central Linn Lions have invited the Circus back to town. The Library is delighted to be hosting a free clown show Wednesday, May 11 tentatively at 1 PM in the Kirk Room at your Library. This free program is delightful for children of all ages. Skeeter is very friendly. Her shows have been very fun to watch and participate in!

We will be holding our annual Summer Reading Program Thursday evenings from 4 - 5. Groups will be in the Library, Kirk Room and outside in the Library Park.
