The City is seeking a member for the Brownsville City Council. City Council meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Council members are also part of the Budget Committee which consists of three additional meetings on consecutive Thursday evenings starting April 26 through May 10, 2018. The term for the position being filled ends January 29, 2019.

Council conducts all City business and formulates or revises policy as needed. Any resident of Brownsville interested in serving on the City Council should submit a written request for appointment and statement of interest and qualifications to City Hall by Friday, February 16, 2018, 4:30 p.m. P.S.T. Council intends to fill this position at the February 27, 2018 Regular Session.

Potential candidates must be an eligible elector and maintain their principal place of residence within City limits and must have also lived in Brownsville twelve (12) months prior to the appointment date.
